Diwali- A Festival of Lights

This time Diwali celebrated on 1 November 2024 Friday. Also known as Deepavali the Hindu  jubilee of lights, with variations celebrated in other Indian persuasions. This Festival symbolizes the spiritual palm of light and positive energy over darkness, good over wrong, and knowledge over ignorance.

Why Diwali is Celebrating?

This Festival is celebrated during the Hindu lunisolar months of Ashvin( according to the Amanta tradition) and Kartika- between around mid-September and mid-November. The fests generally last five or six days.  Diwali is associated with  numerous religious carnivals, gods, and saints; it’s the day Rama returned to his capital Ayodhya with his  woman on Diwali.

Food is an important  point of the  jubilee, with families hosting carnivals and distributing sweets.

The  jubilee also marks periodic homecoming and  relating not just for families but also for communities and associations, especially in  municipalities, which will host conditioning, events, and gatherings. numerous  municipalities hold community  processions and  expositions with  processions or music and  cotillion  performances in  premises . numerous Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs  shoot Diwali chatting  cards to family members near and far during the  gleeful season,  frequently along with boxes of Indian confectionary. Part of the  jubilee entails recalling the ancestors.
